"I am so glad that I take part in the Be A Queen classes. I love being in these classes because they give me a different, and better, perspective on life. I always look forward to the classes every week. Once we did a class on fear. We had a snake and a tarantula on the table and I was scared! We talked about fear and we got a chance to hold the snake; I didn't! Then, the snake and tarantula left and a little while later, a puppy came in. We were all full of joy. This gave me a great perspective on what fear and joy really are. I love this class a lot!" RT, 13 yrs

"I am in love with these classes called Be A Queen... I learn so much. My favorite thing to do is the activities. You can put what you learn into practice. Last week, we talked about a girl, Bethany Hamilton, who lost her left arm from a shark attack. She took this horrible experice and made good come out of it. We tied our left arms behind our backs and tried to do tasks like Bethany; it was hard but we did it! To sum it up, theis class is AMAZING!" MF, 14 yrs

Ministry Objectives

We have a heart for teens...

Teens:
- Learn how to think, speak, and behave in more assertive, loving, and effective queen ways that are pleasing to God.
- Learn how to manage emotions and live in joy, peace, blessing, and gratitude.
- Understand and practice how to set and maintain healthy boundaries with people and activities in their lives.
- Understand and practice how to nurture their souls, spirits, bodies, and hearts.
- Be able to cultivate healthy relationships with family, friends, romantic interests, and school/work place.
- Be able to cultivate their relationships with God and to let love flow from that One into relationships with others.
- Successfully break the cycle of social and emotional difficulties and pass on the treasure of being a queen to the next generation.
Books:
- Provide specific definitions of queen and princess thinking, speaking, and behavior.
- Provide specific definitions of emotions and how to fully live in abundance.
- Give teen examples and anecdotes that illustrate how to set and maintain healthy boundaries.
- Give examples and facts about how emotions affect the soul, spirit, body, and heart.
- Discuss how to manage deposits and withdrawals in relationships and in situations with family, friends, romantic interests, school/work place, conflicts, and crisis.
- Give ample practice, support, and guidance for teens to successfully integrate new skills and wisdom into real life.
- Build teen’s self-esteem and confidence in being a queen by encouraging them to connect with other queens.
- Increase their awareness that they are a treasure to God and others, and that they can provide a godly legacy to their children.
